Janet's talent for singing jazz was first recognized over 25 years ago by world-renowned bassist Cleveland ("Cleve") Eaton, who immediately hired her as a singer after hearing her demo.

Born into a musical family, she studied piano at age 6, and was singing by age 10. Shirley Horn, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, & Carmen McRae are her musical influences. ... more
